Must Read This First [Important!]

We are all here to enjoy roleplay and create a good story and have fun, and so in order to do so we need rules...
- First check the "Characters" board to see what characters we have. We don’t accept doubles of a canon character, but we do accept original characters!
- Eldrazi based characters are banned, as are Eldrazi creatures, but Eldrazi magic (Devoid Instants and Sorceries, for example) are fine.
- Canon characters need to be an accurate representation of what they are in the actual canon. For example, you can't have a male Kiora and you can't have an evil Gideon.
- If you wish to apply for a canon character, post on the Reserve thread that you would like to play that character. From there, you have one week to finish the application. If you do not finish, then the character will be opened again.
- If you wish to apply for an original character then fill out an application form and post it in the "Applications waiting to be Approved" and wait to be accepted before roleplaying.
- We like to see activity! While things do come up sometimes, lengthy absences may result in an admin marking your threads as inactive and moving them. If you know you'll be away for a while, please let an admin know!
- In posts, try and stay in character as much as possible. We allow Out of Character comments indicated by brackets but please try to avoid this as much has possible in order to make the roleplaying more enjoyable for others. Shoutbox and personal messages are there for out of character discussion!
- Keep everything SFW (Safe for Work). Act and speak as you would in a public place. This essentially means that, if this forum were a movie, it would be rated no higher than PG-13. The only exception to this is with respect to violence, which may be more intense than one would see in a PG-13 film. Don't make descriptions of violence over-the-top or overly gory, however.
- For everyone's enjoyment, please avoid godmodding. Don’t force another person’s character to do something against the roleplayer’s permission. Always give them the chance to react! If you’re roleplaying a fight for example, always give the other person a chance to react to anything your character does. If your character goes to punch them then they only ‘attempt to punch them’ that way the other player is able to dodge if they chose. But vice versa; don’t make your character untouchable either, every character has a weakness.
- If you see someone post something which has had no responses to it, reply to it. Make people feel welcome! We're a community, after all.
- Last, and most importantly, have fun!
